I ate here today and I'm not sure, could have been because I'm a baka gaijin, but the staff were not friendly. I had about four plates of sushi, and enjoyed the wasabi in between the layers of fish and rice but I've since gotten a bit of an upset stomach from the food (it's the only possible cause- having not eaten anywhere else before getting sick) so I'm a bit disappointed. Overall not a great sushi train.
Super cheap sushi train with quality food, buzzy atmosphere and speedy, fun service who are not scared to share extra wasabi.
I really love this place. The food is tasty. Very very nice.Staff is also polite and helpful.
The place stinks, is dank and dirty, and the workers don't care about the food. It was disgusting watching the old guy snatch fistfuls of rice, mash it up, then punch it into a wad of seaweed. The food was also extremely low quality in taste and appearance. An insult to sushi overall. Walk a couple of blocks to somewhere else where they care about their product.
A very good place for a quick sushi meal. Good and fresh selection of sushi with affordable price. Easy to order what you want or simply pick dishes from the belt. Price is denoted by the color of the plate.
Lots of options, the chefs r quick and amazing, fish are all fresh (esp recommend the mackerel, salmon, fatty tuna, bbq eel) would return for the fresh sushi with unbeatable price!!!
So-so taste. But okay for price. Cheap sushi. Recomended for budget traveller who like sushi
Cheap and quality is acceptable
Service was on point! Sushi could've been better but what do you expect from a Kaiten sushi
Great place for cheap basic sashimi. Full of locals. Nobody knows english.
Very cheap sushi, 105 to 205 yen, very fresh and superb sushi. Sugoi
Authentic, fresh, great low price, nice to watch sushi in making, definitely recommended.Update - clothes not at 23:00 as stated but at 22:00 and actually we were hot allowed there at 21:25. Very disappointed as we had to travel 40 minutes with kids to get there
Really wouldn’t recommend. Everything looks so rusty and old and the sushi contains wasabi at all times. Staff aren’t really nice. Cheap price however
Left without eating a single piece: Awfull smell and the sushi looked disgusting / not fresh
Cheap and good sushi!
Lots options for food and plenty of places to shop. I enjoyed my time here
My favorite sushi conveyer on the planet!
Great sushi and great price! Fresh food and you can watch them make it. Easy to sit and fit in with the locals.
Pretty cool place, especially if you're not from Japan. It gave me a feel of the locals. Not expensive and the sushi was good and fresh. The set up is super convenient. Next time I'm in Tokyo I'll go back here.
The best sushi in all of Japan... if youre on a budget. Two prices... 100 yen and 200 yen plates(two nigiri per plate)... but most are the 100 yen. They even have my favoritest favy fav fresh katsuo(bonito), well frozen but not seared. At 100 yen i have no words. Quality is really good for the price. Yea its not the cleanest but not dirty. You have to ask for the wasabi. If the sushi goong round is not wet(fresh) just yell out what you want and theyll make you a new one. Anyways... go go go!
I really liked this authentic sushi joint the sushi was very well prepared and you get one free Green tea and you pay according to the plate so you can eat as much as you want and keep stacking the plate once your done they will count your plate and accordingly you will pay for it.
Okay so it is a budget sushi train. And the budget comes up in almost every aspect of the dining experience. While the sushi plates are only 100 or 200 yen, they are don't have much love put into them. Every fish dish was also combined with wasabi and while I don't mind a bit of a kick, it gets old if it's on every dish. They do have hot tea available for drinks but I wanted a cold drink but was never asked of offered to purchase one. As for the sushi itself; not much variety. The big plus of this place is definitely the price. But I would suggest spending the extra yen and going to a nicer place.
Amazing sushi train in the heart of Tokyo. Great value for your money!
For the cost, pretty solid. WAY better than genki or other tourist spots. For under 2000 yen, hard to find better nearby.
Cheap place for budget tourist to try one of the unique food of Japan.Fatty salmon here is the best. Ah! I miss that sweet juicy chewy orange meat so bad.And the most important thing is it's only cost only 100-200 yen per 2 pieces. In Thailand it would cost me a lot more than that (with equal quality, of course!)
Pretty good veggie options, and really good price.
Cheap but very local sushi place, don't go if you want nice japanese food. It's the best to experience Shinjuku.
too much tuna on the rail
Afordable yet fresh and delicious.Really great value for sushi..
Best Sushi ever, my favorite Place for this Kind of food..
People that think this is tasty sushi needs to get their taste bud checked. The rice was dry and felt like day old or badly cooked, the fish wasn't fresh nor tasty. Kombini sushi tastes better than this. Added bonus of bad services and 1 star.
Decided on a random sushi restaurant and I totally regret stepping foot into this one. This is the filthiest sushi restaurant I've seen while in Tokyo. I even saw one of the sushi chefs cough into the sushi that he was making. Another pushed a new plate of sushi too hard onto the conveyor belt and it fell right onto my counter table. Out of ten plates I took, only one scores a pass mark. The rest is worse than the non-authentic sushi back home in Singapore. I give a star for price and another for speed. Overall, it's a complete disappointment.
Delicious sushi at affordable price. A large variety of choices.
Value for money. Always pack with people. Place does not look upmarket but for the price it is a value eat. The salmon, tuna, mackerel, crab and all other seafood were fresh. Been there twice and enjoyed it.
Very good, but Cash only!
Perfect authentic conveyor belt sushi with very affordable prices.
Disappointing. Just enough to make you full. There's probably one or 2 decent sushi.
Not sure what the fuss is about. After having sushi pretty much everywhere, there are certainly much better places to eat. Not super expensive but also not amazing either.
Cheapest sushi in Tokyo
Very good value for its cost. Enjoy sushi, pay and get out. Only two types of plates which makes everything simplier
BEST VALUE conveyor belt sushi place! Highly recommend.CASH ONLY
If you going for a cheap trill, this is the place. I didn't enjoy eating in this restuarant. The sushi prepared was not fresh. Most of the sushi rice served are not sticking together when you pick up the whole piece. No Wasabi will be given as it is put in between the rice and meat. We need to dip the soy sauce on the every plate which is messy. Why can't they give us the small sauce plate? No service level and you can fell that you are going for quantity instead of quality.
As far as sushi goes this is one of my favourite places, not because it’s the best, but because it’s the best value for money. The decor is an unappealing design, but it’s always busy and there’s a consistent flow of very fresh sushi with generous cuts of fish. Complimentary green tea & huge tubs of ginger and if you ask the chefs for wasabi they’ll put a huge mound of it on your plate.Just writing this reviews makes me salivate and I’m looking forward to returning to this place, like I always do.SIX STARS!
For sure it's not the best Shusi in Tokyo, but really enjoyable, tasty and interesting environment , low cost, aceptable quality.
If you like sushi, must visit
Sushi was ok. Some is fresh. Environment is not so clean. I love the uni sushi
This is my go-to sushi place in Shinjuku. First of all this is the best low prce conveyor sushi between shibuya and shunjuku. The regulars are mostly japanese salarymen. Plus,It is near to the station.
Quaint place with very delicious sushi at affordable prices. Best kaiten susshi ever!Plates are 100 and 200 yen. Great for a meal or a snack!
Good food at a reasonable price.
Good price.. good sushi
